I was absolutely impressed with the Husker volleyball team.  I had to listen
to the Florida mauling, but it was still entertaining.  They have swept two
very decent teams and two so-so teams to get to the final 4, and their
composure and steady play (aside from the 10-point run by UF) make them a
strong favorite to take it all.  I kept thinking while watching them
dispatch UCLA, that though Elmer and Sleamua will be missed, this team is
going to be scary next year.  Pavin's diving dig in the final volley against
UCLA was incredible--and she's 6-5!

Well, they sure look like Cook's got a great program going and I just hope
the Huskers bring back the championship and don't hurt anyone with those big
swings.  ;)
