I noticed this as well- the guy seems to avoid accountability at all costs. Perhaps he will tell the AD that this is an insult to him and his team, then run out of the office.

Barnett is saying that no one from the administration has spoken to him about this and he is still the coach and expects to stay. Doesn't he know how to say no comment about anything? He keeps fighting and pointing fingers about everything and anything. I assume he is holding on so tightly because he understands this could be his last job - well in coaching at least. I'm sure someone will get him as an analyst like Bob Davie.
The only person I can see he has not thrown under the bus is the guy in charge of firing him. I guess that will happen when he fires him!!!

CU has taken a dive beginning in the ISU game, but CU has won
four straight Big 12 North Division titles and won the Big 12
in 2001. It is easier to do worse than that than it is to do
better than that. I am guessing that Barnett's ability to recruit
was damaged by the sexual harassment and recruiting at strip clubs
scandals.

As the article notes:
"Under Barnett, on-field toughness seemed to improve, yet recruiting
never truly got off the ground. The Buffs' 2004 and 2005 classes were
ranked among the bottom half of the Big 12."

The current stretch of games in which CU has been blown out and a
national viewing audience saw the CU students misbehave can't help
with next year's recruiting either.

Missouri should be a good place to develop a program with a great
recruiting base, but at this point you have to wonder if Barnett's
problems will follow him, both getting hired and recruiting wherever
he goes.
