Obviously the Bush family cannot say much until after the bowl game,
but his mother was interviewed several times and she seemed to indicate
he was going pro and would finish his degree later.  

Given that he'll be either the #1 or #2 draft pick, I think it is in his
best interests to go this year.  Too many things can go wrong in a year,
notably a career-threatening injury.  (If he doesn't like the idea of 
playing for Houston, he can pull an Elway and get traded to a team he does
want to play for.)

Looking at the USC roster, even if Bush goes to the NFL, they're well stocked
at all the talent positions and will be a top 10 offense again in 2006.
Texas won't be a pushover in 2006, either.
