Let him whine all he wants.  The proof is in the pudding, as they say.  I suppose that Bob G also probably thinks that Ryan Leaf was a better college qb than Peyton Manning and therefore more "points" for Michigan.  Scott Frost said it best after the O-Bowl "after looking at us and Michigan, please vote who you think deserves it the most".  As a result, someone got the crystal football and someone else was left with a wooden pyramid...............

It's been long enough now that Bob Griese is rewriting history.  Did
anyone hear him early in the 4th quarter of the Big 12 championship
game?  He was relating Rose Bowl memories, and how he did the
"championship game" his son played in.  They played Washington State,
who was "ranked 2nd or 3rd at the time, I think".  Washington State was
actually #8 going into that game, and I'm sure I don't need to give the
other correct details to this list.  The only thing I wonder is if
Griese is so biased that he has actually convinced himself of this, or
if he's blatantly lying on national TV.  If he wants to give an opinion,
that's one thing, but lying about it is just wrong.  Why doesn't he just
come out and say "I hate Nebraska because they stole my little boy's
championship trophy"?

Please please Pleeeeeeze arrange for this to happen....it has just
recently slowed down to a trickle here in MI from the unfriendly people
that live south of us over the split season last century.

Another situation like that where they can whine instead of cry "foul"
would be a welcome relief over the last 8 years <g>
