Jeff, Jeff, Jeff.......

I do think you're missing something. I think our standards have dropped.
I'd have a hard time seeing Wake Forest as an Also-Ran - to be one, don't
you have to at least run once?

Hey, in 1946, they had a coach nicknamed "Peahead". In 1970, they won the
ACC. In 1979, they beat a couple ranked teams and went to a bowl. This
seriously can't be their last bowl game, can it?

Hammer SP at every turn? Maybe not EVERY turn, but geez, if we could hear
from someone else at the Athletic Department once in a while, we would
have the chance to hammer them. Unfortunately, it seems like the Clinton
administration, where SP has to be the center of attention, every quote in
every press release available. That's my perception, how close is it to
reality?

To be fair, you have to wonder if there will be many quality games out
there in the increase of the 12th game. Perhaps it was better having the
"Classic" games since at least two name teams had to play each other to
get some TV ratings going. We're most likely going to see more
Nebraska/Maine type games than Texas/Ohio State, at least until people
start wondering why they're shelling out bucks for a crappy product.

I like the Wake Forest game, though. It's on TV, not costing $30. My
nephew Brad has a Wake Forest T-shirt. I like giving Brad crap. It's a
perfect combation!!!!
