[Husker] excited about Maine (fwd)

The next couple of years could get rather ugly. In
2006, there is only 1 non-conference game scheduled,
and that is at USC, albeit minus Matt Leinart who
should be in the NFL by then. In 2007, we travel to
Wake Forest, though Nevada thinks they've got a deal
to play in Lincoln. USC comes to Lincoln.
So, that leaves 3 home games in 2006 and 1 home game
to fill in 2007. I wouldn't be surprised if we see 2
division 1-AA teams next year to fill out the home
schedule.
After that, my guess is that we'll start seeing a
couple of home-and-home games each season, with
hopefully at least one against a name opponent. But,
that will still will leave 2 home games each season
against "Directional Schmuckhead State"...
