[Husker] Maine PPV & Upcoming Husker Season

For me I think it is a combination of stuff. I will still follow the team
and even plan to make a trip from Maryland to see a game with my daughter.
But the old familiar feel of this team is gone: The coaching personnel, the
style of play (option and rugged defense), the records, a sense of the
Nebraska way (e.g. respecting Oklahoma), etc. The disappointing season is
only a piece of the picture. In the past, disappointments just made me more
anxious for the new season. I am going to try and reconnect with this new
bunch. I hope they will give me something more than just technical ability
to appreciate them, but like most fans, a big time season will probably help
the emotional connection.
