> At the present time the NU/Maine game is not schedule for any television, this includes "over the air", cable/satellite or Pay Per View. However having said that there may be some announcement next week regarding a possible PPV of this game. But the current (and correct) answer for now is no TV.

I'm not all that psyched for the start of what I fear will, at best, be a
mediocre season for the Huskers.

As a result, the sad thing is I don't really care if the Maine game is
televised or not. PPV pricing is outrageous, especially for a game that
will either be a cakewalk or could be the start of something bad.
(With apologies to Steve Allen.)

This is the first time in over 30 years I've not been excited about the start
of the Husker football season. Based on the number of posts, it appears
the Husker List isn't all that excited about it, either. (I've seen more
traffic on the Northwestern List in the last week.)

It also appears the media isn't all that excited over the start of Husker
Football. In years past the sports sections of the Lincoln and Omaha papers
were almost wall-to-wall Husker coverage in mid-August, and there was
nightly coverage on TV, I can't say I've noticed that much attention to
the Huskers this year.
