[Husker] Could Alex Gordon return for his senior season?

Negotiations between Alex Gordon and the hapless
Kansas City Royals are still stuck in neutral.  And
now Gordon has signed up for fall classes at Nebraska.
 If Gordon attends class next week, the Kansas City
Royals lose their rights to Gordon, and Gordon returns
to the major league draft pool for next June's draft.

However, before Husker baseball fans get their hopes
up, even Gordon says it's unlikely he'll be back in a
Husker uniform next winter.  Many draft picks wait
until the days (or even hours) before the semester
begins to sign.  With the Royals currently on an 18
game losing streak, they can't afford to throw away a
#2 draft pick.
