The statement was found in an article titled Sooners keeping it simple in
secondary By Justin Harper in The Oklahoman
Since Mike will not allow the posting of the whole article I will send you
the entire article. Here is a quote from the article.
OU defensive coordinator Brent Venables and secondary coach Bobby Jack
Wright aren't going back to the drawing board. They're going back to what
has worked in the past. Venables has scrapped the strategy that Bo Pelini
(last year's defensive backfield coach) favored in order to return to the
alignment used by Mike Stoops"
Again, who knows. If Bielema had come here if he might have been offered
Solich's job. He was one of the top candidates for the DC position.
Schneider had a stroke when he heard about it.
