[Husker] Pilkington's scholarship

I'm not sure Ross Pilkington is actually on
scholarship, as he signed a professional baseball
contract after high school. Erick Strickland was in a
similar situation; he played pro baseball, and so
while he was eligible to play basketball at Nebraska,
he could not be on scholarship.
Even if Pilkington is on scholarship, since he is no
longer part of the football program, I don't believe
he counts against either the 25 man limit for his
class or the 85 player limit for the school. I know
in the past they have "recovered" scholarships from
injured players; the player retains his scholarship,
but it no longer counts against the 25/85 limits. If
this is the case, Pilkington's only impact on
scholarships is financial (the money actually being
spent).
