I don't remember too many "bad shoes" problems when we play at home. But
one or two times a year we go on the road and the equipment managers
seem astonished that we're playing on grass, or that we're playing on
artificial turf, or that it might rain, or that it might not rain.

The answer to both questions is: Yes.

I still have my #7 Huskers Authentic from Scott Frost's second(?) year
(the year he beat Washington in Washington with a couple of QB draws for
long gains and TD). As long as we stay with Red and don't switch to,
say, orange and green, they can do whatever they want to the uniforms.

Again, the answer to both questions is: Yes.

Last year's wasn't too good: 1) there was too much going on up on the
screen, it seemed like everyone was watching Johnny the Jet score on OU
rather than making noise; 2) the fireworks added a mechanical,
artificial aspect to the noise - as if we were saying to the other team:
"we can afford $5,000 for fireworks to intimidate you, we can't rely on
our fans".

Let the discussions begin.
