That's why I said it was only the first nail.  :) 
Hopefully, they can come back and win the next two and push
that board off.

NU doesn't seem to have a killer instinct this year and your
statement- "i think that the huskers are playing down to the
competition" - crossed my mind while I was writing the
original post.

The little things won't matter so much if they can hit and
pitch, but as the games get more important, the little
things get magnified and they can still kill a season or
save it.
