[Husker] Question for the list

I never practiced criminal law, but I do watch "Law & Order." To get a
change of venue, a defendant would have to present pretty strong evidence
that he can't get a fair trial because the jury pool is irrevocably tainted,
usually by pretrial publicity. It is not easily or commonly granted. I think
most judges take the position that possible bias can be uncovered in voir
dire (questions to jurors before they are selected) and jury instructions. I
don't think it would be that difficult to find 12 jurors who are not rabid
Sooner fans, even in Norman. Does anyone know if DeLone even requested a
change of venue? If not, the point would be moot.
