[Husker] Pitt-xxxx Schedule Change?

In deference to those list members who publicly whine
whenever a certain former coach is mentioned on the
list, I won't mention the opponent or the opponent's
head coach.

However, negotiations are underway between ESPN, Pitt,
and a state university with 4 letters in it to move
their game from Saturday, September 10th (a week
before the Pitt-Husker game) to Thursday, September
8th for a prime-time telecast.

Pitt opens the season on Saturday, Sept 3 with a home
game against Notre Dame on ABC.  Dave Wannstedt is
resisting the rescheduling to this date, as they
probably don't want to play on short notice.  However,
it would also give them extra time to prepare for the
Husker game.  However, their opponent's head coach is
naturally looking to get the prime-time exposure. 
They open at Northwestern on Saturday the 3rd.
