While I will not argue about the talent level being down under Solich, the NFL draft isn't necessarily an indicator of a team's talent level. In a given year it might be but it is not cast in stone. Who is drafted is more based on NFL need than collegiate talent available. A given team may have a Heisman Trophy QB but if the first ten teams in the draft don't need a QB he won't be drafted during that time for example.
