[Husker] 3 Huskers in 1st 40 draft picks!

The denigration of players has cause me quite a bit of alarm recently
Mike. Whether it's getting on Husker websites and seeing those who post
comments just ripping players or in forums like the Husker List here
(which, thank goodness, is no where near the veracity you see on the
afore mentioned sites), what used to make Husker fans the greatest in
college football seems to be ebbing quickly. I'm not sure if it's
because younger fans have been spoiled or that's the culture today but
I'm not liking it. Maybe I should have seen the writing on the wall back
when Husker fans were all over Scott Frost after the '96 season. Of
course, he won a MNC the next year so all of a sudden he's beloved but
that first season at the helm of the offense was no picnic for Frost.
The hatred and bitterness towards players hopefully will end soon or it
could be a reason that a recruit decides not to come to Lincoln. I would
say just deserts but it would hurt the team I've grown up loving all my
life and I really don't want that.

Depends on who you listen to. Yes, many people have
complained about "NOT ENOUGH".  But some others have
also said "NO TALENT" - and I'm not sure that you
could say they were not serious in their opinions.

And some people on this very list have denigrated the
Husker players that were drafted yesterday. Some of
those guys seem to have unsubscribed.
