I saw that in yesterdays article too, and while Joe didn't think it was a big deal, I agree it was. I think that was an attempt by the coaching staff to 'send a message' and why the coaches also tried hard to make Joe stay (if they did, I don't believe this was a way to 'get back' a scholarship). They did want him here in the mix. He may not have been number one, but his experience would have been valuable. I think the coaches know you need some depth at QB ( for competition alone) because we saw last year what a one QB system allows - no chance taking.

I also agree with Terry about the board. I'm pretty new, so just thought this was the way here. There are nuggets of info I get way down here every once and a while, that is why I stay, but the personal attacks on players are uncalled for and shows personal, emotional and self-worth problems on the poster's side not the players. I must say, though, I have seen worse on other boards - so I guess so goes life.

Is there any info if there are plans for the Maine or Wake Forest games to be Pay per View or TV? I don't have a dish, but if the games were going to be PPV, I was thinking of getting it.

Has anyone heard if all the recruits have made grades and been accepted to the U?

I think one thing that has been overlooked about JD's demotion to 4th string
was in one of the myriad of articles printed over the last week. It talked
about Dailey "refusing" to practice after his shoulder injury even though he
had been cleared by the medical staff. This was at the same time that Taylor
had been puking between plays. JD made mention in the article that he thought
he was dropped to 4th string to be an example to the team.

I can relate to the coach doing that. Someone who's supposed to be competing
for a job and then doesn't appear to be willing to give the same level of
effort as his competition would be grounds for me to make a move. I've done the

same with soldiers going up for a promotion slot. I'm not questioning JD,
and I don't pretend to know what's going on in his head, but I can see the
coach's point of view. I know that this is a big assumption on my part that this

had anything to do with anything.

Back in the day we had several guys on here that would break down every
offensive and defensive player. They were chased away for whatever reason by
folks who still remain on this list. Today's list seems to be either more of
just
rehashing whatever the media puts out there or a bunch of guys sitting
around the coffee shop complaining about "the new guys."

Here we are following the Spring Game and no one has really broken down the
plays and the players. Instead everyone wants to attack each other or bring
back the "golden days vs. the current woes arguement." Its been this way for
the past 18 months and is really getting old. Thank God for the delete key.
