People don't seem to understand that Dailey looking good on the stat sheet
last Spring was not a great indicator of his ability, as witnessed in many
of his performances in the Fall. I'm not saying Taylor will be a superstar
either, but based on mechanics, decision-making skills and poise in the
pocket, he is leaps and bounds ahead of where Dailey was at this point last
year. Now, whether or not this will translate into success on the field
against thr Oklahomas and Kansas States remains to be seen, but I am betting
on Taylor, whether he had 50 yards or 300 the other day.

I somewhat agree jj.
However keep in mind, Dailey was 29-49 or something like that in last years
spring game, with a couple picks and a couple others that should have been
picked. He never ever threw the sideline pass. I saw Taylor throw several
ropes. He may not be Elway, but he has brass ba**s, for sure. As Bob
stated, Dailey just never improved. Dailey running to the sideline to get
EVERY play from BC to the lack of improvement even in his basic foot work.
This has to hang squarely on Dailey and nothing else. Norvelle did a
horrible job in his capacity too. If he recognized that Dailey was not going
to improve substantially, make a change no matter what game it is.
