[Husker] Dailey to transfer?

I now agree that ( barring injury) things don't look good for Joe,( I thought he would be the starter next year) but is there a possibility the coaching staff was being harder on Joe because he should have a good grasp on all phases of the offense that Zac or any other of the new guys doesn't have? They wanted to get the first defense some work on things also, so Joe was the lamb so to speak. I can understand his dropping to #4 on the chart before the spring game, his shoulder was a little dinged up and the coaches don't really need to see him, but the coaching staff could have come out and said that kind of thing, and all the speculation would have been silenced. The staff keeps saying it is wide open, everyone has lots to learn etc., but you can't demoralize a kid like it seems they have done with Joe. I admit, I am a long way away, and do not know what goes on behind the scenes or on the practice field, so may be it is just the way the media is portraying it and I am!
missing something. Looking at the stats, Zac had a great game (so did Joe last year against the same kind of set-up), and I am encouraged. I hope Joe sticks around, because I think things could still work out at NU. But the coaches have to give him a reason.

Can you say (or, in this case, write) "scapegoat"? I think the
coaches would like the impression that last year's problems were
at QB (and not with the defense, rushing attack, special teams,
or coaching).
If I were Joe, I'd head elsewhere. He's not going to get another
shot at QB for NU.
