.......... But then, the balk that. kept Gordon alive and allowed him
ultimately to score the tieing run on Friday night was a bit strange, too.
Maybe someone who understands the balk rule better than I do (it wouldn't
take much) saw something.

When pitching from the stretch, the pitcher must come to a complete stop
prior to delivering the ball. It appeared the Texas pitcher may not have.
Either way it was close.
