Hello all!
Today the #7 Huskers swept the OSU Cowboys with a 10-run-rule 10-0
victory. Duensing pitched the second consecutive Husker shutout in a
dominating performace.
This baseball team looks good, dang good. Their offense is 10 times
better than last year and I'm starting to think it pales in comparison
to their pitching. Up and down the staff are solid pitchers. Kronke,
Duensing, and Dorn look amazing. Joba's looked great early, but been
a little rocky as of late.
We have Creighton in the Big O on Tuesday (6:30) and then Iowa at
Lincoln on Wednesday (6:05) both games on NETV. Then we host Texas for
the weekend series (Fri 6:30 ESPNU 609 on DirectTV, Sat 1:00 ESPN, and
Sun 1:30 ESPN). Should be a great series on national television and
a real test for our boys.
