[Husker] Baseball

     I went to the Husker baseball game yesterday in which the Huskers won 6-0   Kroenke pitched a great game spinning a shutout along with seven strikeouts.

     Alex Gordon is the real deal.  He made two plays at third which remind one of a major league play diving into the hole, coming up with the ball, and throwing the runner out.  He also hit a home run.  There were almost 7,000 at the game.  It is wonderful to see a packed house for Husker baseball.  It really wasn't all that long ago if 50 people showed up for a game it was considered pretty good.  These guys are playing solid ball right now but there is a long way to the season yet.  Texas and Baylor loom large.
