I don't know about here, but I think some ND recruits may have second
thoughts about going to a school that fired Ty Willingham after only 3 seasons,
without time to fully implement his system with a full recruiting cycle. They are
getting a little quick with the hook, which if I were a recruit would make me
wonder if the next coach and system will last through my career.

Let's hope that SP is smarter than the ND folks and gives BC more time than
that if he wins 16 more games in the next two seasons (and gets the D back in
shape, by whatever means) or is at least respectable.

Couldn't believe the press conference about Willingham. Something like
"Academic performance is at a fever pitch, it has never been higher." "From Sunday
through Friday the football program has exceeded expectations in every
respect...but on Saturdays we have struggled."

I think these guys made a much poorer decision than even SP did in firing
Solich, hope the next guy makes them pay up front BIG TIME...and BC steals a
couple of their blue chips ; )

GBR...how many days until the 2005 season starts?

Would a recruit NOT come here, due to the A.D. ?
