[Husker] Quick Thoughts

Fellow Husker Faithful-

I got to thinking about something today that has been bothering me for
awhile about this season... has anyone on the list actually sat down and
looked at game films from this year? I know they are available, at least
they used to be in VHS days. No one can hide in the film room, believe me.
Anyhow, I would be curious to hear from anyone who has taken the time (and
believe me it takes time) to look at game film, or even studied the tv
coverage of the games, about their opinions on the season. It seems like the
"coaching versus player talent" argument can never be resolved, at least not
on this list anyway. It is easy to sit here (and I have done this as well)
and criticize the coaching staff, and I think some of it is probably
warranted, but has anyone really sat down and looked at the film of these
players? 

Along with obvious coaching blunders I've seen (and heard about , I have
also noticed some instances of a lack of talent, but I will not name names
(plus I might be here all day). That is not meant to be a knock on the
talent level, maybe I'm just used to seeing 10-12 NFL prospects on the
Huskers like in the 90's. I just want to know if anyone has slowed this
stuff down and looked at it objectively. I wish I had the time to do so, but
until this semester is over, I will not. Even those of you who are at these
games cannot appreciate certain nuances that can be glaring in a film study.
