I am curious,  how highly recruited were they ?  Manning could have gone anywhere he wanted. Anyone know if either of the others were top recruits ?

FWIW, I remember in the early 90s (94 I think), of all of the major award winners (Trev Alberts was one), there were 0 Parade All Ams and only 1 (OL from Notre Dumb) was on the 300+ Super prep All am team.

Recuiting is important.  No question. It is not the panacea some project it to be. Yes we need atheletes on the team.  One of the best is T. Green.  He was not highly recuited at all & originally asked to walk on by FS.  Will he turn out to be a great  player ?  Don't know.
