Were they lined up correctly? One play that really struck me is when we
pinned them down by the goal line for their first series of the 2nd
half, and Purify immediately broke a big run off the right side. As we
were lining up for that play it looked like we were way overloaded on
our right side, and they blasted through our barely existent left side,
enough that I commented on it before the play took off. I wouldn't have
been surprised if they checked off to that play. I already erased the
game recording so I can't re-check the play. Maybe it was an exception
but it caught my attention.
CBs playing off the ball was another beef, but I don't think one of our
cornerbacks was going to make any plays no matter where he lined up.
Maybe he was still getting over his injury.
