When time and again passes were being completed with the nearest defender
being 5-10 yards away if not in the next zip code, I have to wonder how much
of this was poor execution and how much was not having the defenders in the
right places in the first place, which is poor planning.

If the coaches don't want to share the blame for losses, they shouldn't
be surprised when the players play uninspired football. In the last two
years the players have been told:

1. The coaches you were recruited by are gone.
2. The offensive and defensive terminology and schemes are all new.
3. The new coaches we hired are gone too, as is the head coach.
4. The offensive and defensive terminology and schemes are all new--again.
5. Traditions? What traditions?
6. Walkons? What walkons?
7. We're moving to a different offense which will require different
    players to be successful.
