[Husker] What We Don't Need Is More Change

The guy who does the call-in show on KFAB after the game (John Bishop?) made
a good point. He questioned whether all the players had "bought in" to the
new system. If you were to ask them, they would probably answer that they
did, and they might mean it, but I know how difficult reorganizations can
be. In addition to the change of scheme, the players lost several much-loved
assistants and were treated all year to constant references to their not
being recruited for the new system (which a player might well interpret as
"you're not good enough"). Add all that up, and a player might just want the
whole thing over and done with.

Subject: [Husker] What We Don't Need Is More Change

No one is going consider this season a success, that's just obvious.

What I hope we don't do is make any changes in coaches. We've had enough
change. Everyone just needs time to step back, take a deep breath and get
settled into a routine.

Replacing coaches is going to do nothing but throw more uncertainty into
this situation.

If you've been through a reorganization or merger, etc. at work, then I
think you can probably relate to the uncertainty that these kids have been
going through since last December.

What they don't need is more turmoil and change. Let's all just take a chill
and let the coaches and players get settled in.
