Just watching the game, I don't think the offensive scheme was that  bad.  
There were tons of open receivers, tons of chances.  The  overthrows and dropped 
passes killed us.  If a few of those passes would  have been completed, it 
seems it would have opened up the running game even  more.  The one thing I 
don't understand is the preoccupation with throwing  the long ball.  When Dailey 
did get in a rhythm, it was always the 5-15  yard passes, he would plant his 
feet and fire. Even early in the second  half, we were still in it, you knew the 
Colo QB had to slow down a bit.  
My major concern is the defense.  I saw a great step backward this  year with 
somewhat the same, although I think a little depleted, talent.   The loss of 
a pass rush killed us.  I would have thrown that 5 yard pass  all day with the 
cushion we were giving them.  
I believe it will get better.  I also think Dailey will start at QB  next 
fall.  I think the learning curve is just to great for a new kid to  come in 
right away.  Maybe the kid can learn to keep the ball a bit lower  on his passes 
and with a viable back up, they'll let him run a bit.
