I used to do a lot of PE's for employees over the years. It was important to
do so conscientiously for employees and the company's well being. Done
conrrectly, you develop a good staff and a stronger organization.

So how would we rate coach Callahan and his staff for their performance this
year? Here are some of the accomplishments:

The first losing season in 43 years.
The first season in which the team has not been rewarded with a bowl
appearance in 36 years.
The first losses to Southern Missiissippi and Texas Tech in the history of
relations with those two schools.
The most points ever scored against the Huskers in a single game.
The worst loss in Husker history.
A month (November) in which the Huskers failed to lead in a game at any time.
A defense which had finshed in the top 25 during the previous year that
finished in 113 rd place out of 116 I-A teams.
Coaching a quarterback who threw more interceptions than touchdowns.
The liklihood that the Huskers will be the favorite to finish in last place
in the Big XII North in 2005

On the positive side:
A continuation of the long winning streak against Kansas--we haven't lost to
the JayHawks since 1968.
Handing Big East power Pittsburgh one of its three losses this year.
A potentially outstanding recruiting class for 2005.

My rating on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being outstanding would be somewhare in
the vicinity of 3. Harsh, perhaps, but ..........? What do you think?
