This kid is a grey shirt (scholarship in 2006??)--I think
his scholarship will not be counted until next year; not
sure how that all works. Does anyone know??

Word on Souder is that he is a very tough kid (brother in
Special Forces--Navy Seals perhaps) but needs to get bigger.
Although he is not "ranked" I think this is a good pickup
for NU.

Octavien (LB) , Vickers (receiver), LaFell (receiver) and
Cryier (DT) have not verbally committed to NU. I think all
but Vickers will be at the Colorado game. Look for Lafell
and Cryier to commit this weekend. I don't think Vickers
will commit to NU and Octavien has become some "hot
property" and has gotten interest from a number of big
programs recently. I am sure he will take those visits
before he commits to any program.

As I have mentioned earlier, this Octavien kid is big,
strong and fast (very fast)--he was a Division I player
playing JUCO ball this last fall. I would really like to
see NU recruit this guy; he would likely start at outside LB
next year for some team and I hope it is Nebraska.
