[Husker] David Horne transfer RUMOR

There is a HUGE difference between Irving and David
Horne. That can't be a serious comparison. If you read
my post again, you'll see that I said "the breaking
point" was the dropped pass.

I didn't think Horne was the answer to the question
before that season. I thought he was a dancer - not a
hard nosed runner that would be able to get the extra
yard ala Cory Ross. Go back to the the best RBs
Nebraska has had - and that is one of the things most
(if not all) have had in common.

To me, I thought Horne would have been better
developed and utilized as a wingback in the Solich
system. This year, you saw Horne line up as a WR in
several situations where Ross/Jackson/Green were also
on the field.

So to answer your question, sir, there is nothing that
"could have gotten him back in my good graces." I just
never thought he was a great fit - it's not personal
against David what so ever.

On a side note - happy Thanksgiving to everyone.
Here's hoping for a win against the vermin and a trip
to Orlando for the holidays.
