[Husker] David Horne transfer RUMOR

Does anyone think David Horne's lack of pt is due to the new system? Was that his problem last year as well? Horne was given a chance to return kick offs and failed at it. Remember the opening of the KU game? I have no inside knowledge of what the problem is, but I believe the team, and David Horne would be better off if he transferred. For example, DeAngelo Evans excelled at Emporia State.

I'm not saying he is a Horne is a bad kid. A poster on this list menitoned that he had met him and thought he was a great guy. I have no reason to question his impression, and I was very happy to hear that he enjoyed his meeting. However, we are talking about Husker football here and IMHO, NU is better off without David Horne next year.

Fast forward to today, and David's 4th on the depth chart, playing in an offense that he didn't sign up for and for coaches who didn't recruit him.

So maybe I'm being too harsh, but I think your attitude sucks. Jeez, these are college kids.

I hope I wasn't too harsh. I always thought Horne was overrated in high school and at NU. I understand his work ethic was lacking. Remember in 2002 he dropped a td pass that would have kept us in the game. Its been all down hill since then.

Anyone out there think Horne is capable of having a great senior year?
