[Husker] David Horne transfer RUMOR

KOZN Radio (1620 AM) in Omaha reported today that
David Horne is planning to transfer at the end of the
season.  The report said that Horne's father is
contacting schools to gauge interest, and that
Northern Iowa has already been contacted.

For those people who actively follow recruiting, Horne
has been a major disappointment.  After burning his
redshirt in the middle of the 2002 season, he had
several  100 yard games and saw significant playing
time.  Last season, he really only had one good game,
gaining over 100 yards against Missouri and fell to
third string by the end of the season.  Horne never
really lived up to his recruiting ranking, some of
which listed him as one of the Top 5 running backs in
the country. (Something to keep in mind as recruiting
heats up...)
