I made an ealier post that I thought Barrett Ruud would be a third round
pick in the NFL despite Kiper's predictions. Several people pointed out
Kiper's predictions after I made that post. He has had a tremendous year
and I hope he goes higher (low first or second). He is a great player and
a tribute to what NU football is all about.

A lot of talk about talent, or lack thereof, on the 2004 NU football
team. How many players will be drafted?? Obviously Ruud will go; who
else? Someone mentioned that F. Washington will go out as a Junior--he
better be ready to try out as a free agent.

Speaking of that, how many all-americans will NU have?? Total speculation
but my guess is Ruud and perhaps D. Bullocks. Ruud might make 2nd or 3rd
team and Bullocks might be honorable mention (maybe).

How many all-big 12 players will NU have?? Again, speculation but I think
Ruud will make first team but I predict that NU will have no more than 3
players mentioned.

Any thoughts on post-season honors for NU football players???
