Okay, it's not really good news, but it may serve to distract CU, if only marginally. Rumor has it that CU AD Dick Tharp will resign tomorrow (Monday). Long, long overdue. The guy is a disaster. You don't suppose they'd want a certain Clinton lookalike to replace him? I mean, North Platte is almost as close to Boulder as it is to Lincoln. Oh, never mind.

Meanwhile, an unreported "special fund" has been uncovered in Boulder. The Regents want to investigate. Gary Barnett claims the money is his, coming from his summer camp. Maybe that will keep him busy this week. Those of us with long memories will recall that a "slush fund" helped bring down CU coach Sonny Grandelius back in the early 60s after CU had won a conference championship.
