I live about an hour and a half from the SU campus, and I can tell you Pelini 
will have as difficult a time there as anyone. Syracuse simply does not get 
the players to compete with the top teams in the country. The biggest advantage 
they have is the Carrier dome, which can be very loud at times, and they 
usually play teams very tough at home. I wonder too what makes any particular 
place a "good fit", it seems to me that the best "fit" for Pelini would be as a 
head coach in the NFL who wins Super Bowls, but what do I know. If he does in 
fact take the SU job and succeeds, that will say quite a bit about his coaching 
ability.
