Hopefully I can give some "insider" perspective from
here in Columbus. I watched the Alamo Bowl and I
really thought the announcing crew was harsh on the
Buckeyes.

The Troy Smith situation pretty much boils down to a
booster giving Troy a little cash. He didn't tell the
university about it, but the guy's lawyer is the one
that ended up blowing the whistle.

I think a lot of the allegations against OSU are being
blown up because a lot of people want to see the Bucks
go down - and I am sure as Husker fans we can
appreciate that.

I can't believe I am defending the Luckeyes - but it
appears to me the national hype is pretty much just
that.

Anyway, my two cents from the shadows of the 'Shoe.
