Yeah, I suppose they should have canned the Michigan coach for starting
those great freshmen he recruited back in the 1990's, too.

I'm not claiming that this is the next Fab Five, or even All-Conference
material, but it does seem to me like they're performing at least as
well as the upperclassmen on the team.  I guess we'll see where they
stand at the end of February.

The real question on firing a coach should be:  will the team be better 
off with new coaches?   Right now, I don't know that Nebraska could 
attract a basketball coach worth hiring.
