[Husker] Hoops

     With all the football talk there haven't been many posts about Men's hoops, which when looking at the hoops program is understandable.  This is Barry Collier's fourth year at NU.  He has gone 14-16, 13-15, and 11-19 for an overall record of 38-50.  He has been 7-9, 6-10, and 3-13 in the conference for a conference record of 16-32.  To this point this year the Huskers are 4-4 with wins over perennial powerhouses Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Texas Southern, Morgan State, and North Carolina A&T.  If Collier is 4-4 now wait until he gets into the meat grinder that is called the Big 12.  Unless he can finish above .500, which I'll be shocked if he does, it will be time for Pederson to send another coach packing.  Some people are on Callahan but the basketball program has done nothing but deteriorate under Collier to this point.  By now Collier should have his players in place.  He may but the players he has are not very good.  In my opinion there are at least 7-8 teams in the Big 12 that are better than the Huskers.
