My thoughts on some Christmas Wishes:
Cory Ross: Statistics next year that match the heart
he showed this year.
Joe Dailey: A fresh start, and a chance to prove your
critics wrong.
Jordan Adams: A return to full health, and a chance
to finally get back onto the football field.
Turner Gill: A quality head coaching job for a
quality individual.
Barney Cotton: Another bowl victory.
Bo Pelini: A national championship ring.
Dave Kennedy: A weight-room filled with Huskers all
winter, spring, and summer.
Barrett Ruud: His name being called by Paul Tagliabue
early on NFL draft Saturday.
Josh Bullocks: 10 interceptions in 2005.
Kevin Cosgrove: A fresh start, and a chance to prove
your critics wrong.
The Blackshirts: No more "rush 3, drop 8" defensive
calls.
Adam Carriker: More time squashing quarterbacks than
in the training room.
Richie Incognito: Internal peace with yourself.
FireSteve.com Users: Remembering that you and Steve
Pederson share similar goals; you just have
differences of opinion on how to get there.
HuskersWhoBelieve.com Users: Remembering that the
FireSteve.com users support the players and the
program at least as much as you do.
Recruitniks: A top-ten recruiting class on
rivals.com.
Recruiting skeptics: That this top-ten recruiting
class turns out better than the last couple of
"top-ten" recruiting classes.
Jay Norvell: Recognizing your teams strength long
before the 10th game of the season.
Bill Callahan: A Saturday focus on the game, not on
the recruits in the stands.
Steve Pederson: The ability to admit that you've made
some mistakes, apologize, and finally heal your
"Husker Nation."
Frank Solich: A winning season for Ohio.
Our brave men and women in the Armed Forces: The
ability to return home safe and sound, and with our
gratitude for their sacrifice and dedication.
Husker fans near and far: A 9-3 season in 2005, with
a Big XII North championship, and none of the ugliness
of 2004.
Merry Christmas to all!
