Making half of the team sit in the locker room while
the rest of the team is out on the field? For some of
these players, this may be the only opportunity to get
on the field in front of family and friends. It has
EVERYTHING to do with respect and dignity. They're
not good enough to even stretch or take part in a
drill?

No, but there were more than 2 QB's on the trip. Ryan
Goodman was on the trip, and probably Mike Stuntz as
well. And how dignified is Beau Davis' -74.9
efficency rating? It was very obvious that Davis was
not ready to play that night, so give another player a
chance. (One could also argue that perhaps Callahan
didn't respect backups enough to give them reps in
practice so they would be more ready to play.)
I'm also a fan of UNO Mav hockey, and earlier this
month, coach Mike Kemp thought a true freshman who
played for Kearney last year was ready for a start.
39 seconds into the game, UNO was already down 2-0,
and the shell-shocked freshman was on the bench before
it got any worse.

Coach Solich has moved on, perhaps you should too.
