I thought it was some other coach who said he wasn't ready to make a move,
but when a coach says that it often means he's just waiting for a better
offer. That's kind of like when the AD or GM says that the coach's job
is secure, it's probably time for the coach to update his resume.

Wannstedt's been out of the college game for a LONG time, I hope they have
a good NCAA compliance officer at Pitt.

There's a wealth of interesting stories on the wire today, thankfully
NONE of them about the Huskers.

Nick Saban has apparently been offered the Dolphins job but hasn't accepted
yet and apparently isn't in a hurry to do so.

ESPN is reporting that former Iowa State coach Tim Floyd will take over
at USC.

The forewoman of the grand jury that investigated the CU football program
wants the grand jury's report to be released to the public.

Eastern Michigan is complaining that the game film and accompanying
play-by-play summary that Toledo sent them of the Kansas game is missing
a trick punt play, one which Toledo pulled off successfully against
Eastern Michigan. The MAC reprimanded Toledo back in October, but Eastern
Michigan wants more, such as a forfeit.

The Big 10 is satisfied with its instant replay experiment and is asking
the NCAA to make it permanent and to require it in all 1-A games.
Instant replay would probably have taken a BGSU TD off the books in last
night's bowl game, but I think Bowling Green would have won anyway.
