First, I still think it's way to early to make a good solid judgement
on Pederson, Callahan, or anyone. Pederson made a BOLD (insert stupid
here if you'd like) move to junk what has been NU for 299392 years and
go to a more 'trendy' type of offense. The real problem is that for
some to accept that move (and I don't know if I can yet) it would have
to be from someone we hold dear (aka, TO, FS, BD, TG...) to really
give it a chance. I for one took quite a bit of pride in how the
program was, or at least seemed to be different from everywhere else.
Now, I'm trying to remain optimistic/impartial about where we're
going, but the 'change' that SP made didn't make me a big fan of his
'15 foot grin'. I now find myself 'looking' for reasons to dislike
him.

That being said, I REALLY don't buy the 2 out of 3 idea, because the
'2' DEFINATELY had motives for making SP look bad.

1) Houston's AD needed someone to pin the blame on for losing a
high-profile game (We are still a high-profile for Houston).

2) ESPN had to save face because SP claims they were the hold up and
they still want to get a good game in to 'kickoff the season'.

I'm not saying I'm buying SP's story either. I'm just trying to point
out that everyone involved had potential motives and I think ESPN's
and Houston's put them on the same side.
