[Husker] ESPN reports on Pederson's Comments (fwd)

This seems to be a recurring theme with SP. He says one thing and
everyone else involved says another. Right now, his reputation is in
tatters and unfortunately, he's dragging the Huskers down with him. SP
needs to learn a phrase to help avoid this he said/he said problem, "I
have no comment." I swear SP is like that teenager desperate to be liked
who seems to have to comment on anything and everything to get approval
of others. Whether you liked Bill Byrne or not, he seemed to have the
thick skin to be able to weather criticism without having to worry about
his popularity. Until SP realizes this, I expect more of the same from
him and the athletic department.

And now ESPN contradicts Steve Pederson:

"This one we had tied up," ESPN's vice president of
communications said. "It was 100 percent set as our
Thursday night opener."
