Heise and Beach are echoing my thoughts. Not too mention, they are more readable because of the lack of decibels.

Good point, Bob. Here's another thought, don't know if it's
relevant. I know from personal experience that my perception of
the "rightness" of my actions is not as accurate when I have some
emotional involvement. Pederson has Nebraska roots, so perhaps he
suffers from a bit of the same syndrome?
