I for one and not upset that we are playing Maine. It
is the fact that we had a chance to schedule a 1-A
opponent, who has not been very good so would meet
your standard for the weak opponent, and chose not to
to schedule a weak 1-AA opponent. Didnt Maine finish
5-6 last year. This is not a top 1-AA opponent who
would be considered better then Houston, it is a bad
1-AA team who, it would seem on paper, is worse then
Houston and to me this makes NU appear to be running
from better competition. Remember all the grief KSU
used to get, and still does, for their soft schedule?
Do we want to get the same reputation as them? It
seems that KSU does not get the respect they deserve
from the human polls due to their schedule. Do we
really want that for NU?
