Bob, you're right money is the overall driving force behind
college athletics.  BUT that doesn't mean it should be the
#1 criteria or overriding factor in every decision.  And in
this case maybe the initial decision looks like a plus in
the money column but in the long run?  As someone else
pointed out, the negative publicity NU is getting comes at
an undefined cost.  This isn't the sort of thing that helps
when trying to raise money for new facilities.

What about the other benefits like recruiting exposure in
Houston, a nationally televised game, two home games in
return?

Whether one likes Pederson or not, this reflects poorly on
him and the athletic dept.  Money is too easy of an out
because when looked at objectively, the cost outweighs the
benefits.
