[Husker] 2005 NU Football Schedule Set

At first, I agreed with that assessment, but in
today's Omaha World-Herald, it was reported that the
Houston contrace was a 2-for-1 deal. So yes, while we
gain a home game in 2005, we lose 2 home games in 2006
and 2009. Nebraska must now find 2 more home games
for those years, which probably means 2 more I-AA
teams in those seasons.

Remember, with the stadium expansion scheduled to be
completed in 2006, a home game in 2006 will be worth
about $200,000 more than a home game in 2005.

If we end up going on the road to fill one of the 2006
and 2009 slots, we'll actually lose money in the end.

Not to mention yet another stain on Pederson's
integrity. (Yes, there was no signed contract, but
there was Pederson's word. Which, once again, has
been shown to be absolutely worthless. How many
organizations will want to deal with Pederson now on
contracts?)
